Once you’ve stepped inside this semi-detached property, you are drawn to the fantastic panoramic views of the harbour and in the distance towards Filey, from all of the rear windows on both the ground and first floor. With three bedrooms, a family bathroom and a further ground floor toilet, this property is ideal for families. From the kitchen, French doors lead to the terrace and down to the enclosed garden with a further seating area. Renovated to a very good standard, the owners have spent time to make sure the property provides the perfect base for a holiday in Scarborough, on the Yorkshire Coast. The owner even provides beach equipment, including buckets, spades, crabbing items, nets, windbreaks, folding chairs, beach mats, towels, a picnic cool bag and a flask.
The traditional South Bay is just a short walk away, with its beach, donkey rides, amusements and fish and chips. The North Bay is much more relaxed, perfect for that romantic evening stroll. Alpamare waterpark is also located on the North Bay and is the largest indoor waterpark in Europe, with lots of slides, wave machines, swimming pools and a sauna. Both bays have large sandy beaches and have won many awards over the years. The promenade runs all along the seafront with over 3 miles of level walking. At the far end of Marine Drive is Scarborough SEA LIFE Sanctuary and Peasholm Park, where you can hire rowing boats and pedalos, and watch the battleship re-enactment. Filey, Flamborough Head, Bridlington and Whitby are within a short drive. Hull, the City of Culture 2017, and York can be reached within an hour’s drive. York has been voted on several occasions as being in the ’Top 10 Cities to Visit’. Beach 400 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
