Denant House was once the owner’s large residence and has been recently made into two semi-detached holiday cottages Denant House and The Rathe (UK6647) nestled within the owner’s large and extensive grounds to include woodland walks and even an iron age fort.
The Rathe has been converted into a charming holiday cottage and is nestled within the owners’ large and extensive grounds. This large semi-detached residence has been finished to a very good standard throughout with a light and airy open plan kitchen, dining and living space. On an evening enjoy cooking that special meal in the modern galley style kitchen, or dine al fresco with barbecue on the lawn and watch the sunset. Both bedrooms have been thoughtfully furnished and well presented.
Close to the hamlet of Dreenhill with its local restaurant and bar serving home cooked locally sourced meals. Locally you can enjoy some truly stunning beaches with Broad Haven, Little Haven and Nolton Haven, all within easy reach and boasting magnificent views out into the St Brides Bay with its clear blue waters and dramatic coastline. Here you can also take a stroll on some of 186 miles of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park footpath that runs from Amroth in the South to Cardigan in the North but be sure to bring along some binoculars and a camera! Travelling further to the village of Dale renowned for its water sports including wind surfing, canoeing and sailing. The beach offers the opportunity to sit back and relax, or explore some of the beaches many rock pools, on the seafront take in some fresh hand caught bass or lobster at the Griffin Inn whilst enjoying the enviable sea views.
A great day out for keen bird and wildlife watchers is Skomer Island well known for its Puffins, Manx Shearwaters, Harbour Porpoises, Atlantic Seas and Razorbills to name a few just catch the boat from Martins Haven. 40 minutes away is the coastal resort of Tenby surrounded by medieval walls built to fortify the town and are still in place to this very day compete with arches into the town leading to cobbled streets and harbour.
