This fabulous 19th-century school has been converted into a great holiday home. Situated in the Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this detached property is a real home from home with everything you could need, set in a quiet village location just walking distance from the local pub/restaurant. There are three large bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, one of which is on the ground floor with patio doors leading out to a lovely enclosed garden, great for your animals to exercise in. There is also a community play area at the rear of the garden.
There is a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area with beams and a wood burner – great for cosy nights in. There is also a snug on the ground floor; a great place for the kids if they want to watch some TV or play games.
The market town of Monmouth is approximately 5 miles from the property and hosts an abundance of shops, cafés and restaurants. Steeped in history, a must visit is Monmouth Castle and the Monnow Bridge and Gate.
The Forest of Dean National Park and Symonds Yat are approximately 12 miles from the property, and plenty of walks to be had with Offas Dyke not being far from here. Whatever you do on your holiday this spacious conversion will be the ideal place to base yourselves from. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 350 yards.
