The cottage is well situated for exploring the North Devon area. The Dartmoor National Park is within easy reach where there are plenty of walks for all ages and abilities, perfect for guests wanting to enjoy this stunning and dramatic area. Towards the coast there are many fine beaches and coves including Saunton, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! There are numerous places of interest close by including the R.H.S gardens at Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and the historic fishing village at Clovelly. For the younger ones a visit to the Big Sheep or Milkyway is a good option. There is golf at Okehampton and Ashbury or hire a bike and cycle along the Tarka Trail.
