Lilac Cottage is in the quiet and beautiful village of Westgate, near Bishop Auckland, and within the North Pennines. Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you can explore the many walks and cycle routes on offer, or head to the local pub, only a short walk away, where you can enjoy a hearty meal.
The property has two first floor double bedrooms with views over the local farmland, and the family bathroom is on the same level. Downstairs are two large living spaces. The living room has large wood burner and the kitchen/dining room has a second wood burner. To the rear of the property is a lawned garden with a patio, a lovely place to sit and relax after a busy day of exploring, and on those slightly colder nights you can spend the evening in the summerhouse. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 110 yards.
