Heading east from here, you will find a string of beautiful coastal villages, all with a great beach habitat including sandy stretches, salt marshes and picturesque quays. Make time to visit Wells-next-the-Sea, with its colourful beach huts, and stop off on the way at one of the many great places to eat. Head west for a change of pace and enjoy all the fun of the fair at Hunstanton with its famous striped cliff faces. Hunstanton is also the only place in Norfolk you can see the sun setting, since usually this coastline is all about the beautiful sunrises. There are two great golf course nearby, multiple bird watching, walking and cycling opportunities and, of course, the Sandringham and Holkham Hall Estates to be explored too. And, after a busy day’s sightseeing, just to retire to these gorgeous cottages is a treat in itself. Beach ½ mile. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
