The South Downs National Park borders the property, it begins at the back garden. Designed also with wheelchair users in mind, it Is conveniently located only a few minutes away from the Goodwood Estate in the heart of West Sussex, famed for its motor racing, golfing and horse racing and home to the world-famous Festival of Speed.
There is a superb choice of activities and places to visit locally. Walk or drive into the National Park, a unique and beautiful area of chalk down land and woods, with a vast network of footpaths and mountain bike trails, picturesque villages, country pubs and abundant wildlife. Visit the historic city of Chichester with it’s cathedral, festival theatre, shops, and Roman palace. Chichester harbour (Area of outstanding natural beauty) is ideal for sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and birdwatching. Within easy reach are beaches at West Wittering and Bognor Regis, the National Trust stately homes of Petworth and Uppark, the Weald and Downland Living Museum, West Dean Gardens, and Arundel castle. Other attractions include the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Pagham nature reserve, and further afield the historic city of Portsmouth, the HMS Victory and the Mary Rose.
