There is a well-appointed breakfast kitchen, comfortable living room and the spacious bedrooms have great views. Solar panels provide hot water and there is a separate laundry room. Much thought, care and attention has gone into the finer details, ensuring that visitors will enjoy a restful holiday. This detached cottage lies adjacent to a green and a beck, complete with paddling ducks, which runs past the back of the cottage.

The village amenities include cafés, shop and play area for children. There is also a monthly farmers market. With quiet roads and footpaths lined with wild flowers, this makes a wonderful base from which to explore the majestic beauty of the Lake District National Park. Situated on the Coast to Coast Walk and Cumbrian Cycle Way, with links to Keswick and the Lake District. Enjoy a railway journey from Appleby on the Settle to Carlisle railway. Shop/P.O 300 yards, pub/restaurant 200 yards.
